Harutyun Khachatryan steps down as Golden Apricot director

Harutyun Khachatryan has stepped down as the Director of the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival (GAIFF).

Mr. Khachatryan has been relieved of the post upon his own resignation. He has cited the heavy workload as the reason behind his decision, GAIFF reports in a released statement.

The source meantime notes that the festival’s founding council has appointed film critic Susanna Harutyunyan as the new director.
