Armenia’s Karen Aslanyan grabs gold at World Military Wrestling Championships

The World Military Wrestling Championships in Greco-Roman style kicked off in Klaipeda, Lithuania on Friday, with eight athletes representing Armenia in the tournament.

Two Armenian wrestlers – Karen Aslanyan (66kg) and Armen Hakobyan (71kg) – won trough to the finals of the championship, the National Olympic Committee reports.

Karen Aslanyan grabbed the gold, while Armen Hakobyan lost to his opponent, winning the silver medal.
