FIDE World Cup 2017: Aronian's masterful technique falls short

Game two of the World Cup 2017 finals took place in Tbilisi, Georgia with the Armenian Gm Levon Aronian with black pieces missing the victory.  As the National Olympic Committee reports, Ding Liren went wrong and the moment he did that Aronian started turning the screws on the position. White had landed in a completely lost position. It was only through a miracle that Ding Liren escaped.

To note, the pair with equal score 1:1 will play the third game slated for Monday.
