Armenian Junior Basketball Championship kicks off

Armenian Basketball Boys’ U16 Championship kicked off on Sunday with 12 teams from Yerevan and Armenian regions participating in the tournament. The teams are seeded in two groups to play two-legged matches at home and away.

As the National Olympic Committee reported, on the first day Shengavit, Grand Sport, Ajapnyak, Gyumri, KhMOMM claimed victories.  

It is noted the tournament is played during the course of one year for the first time.
