Weightlifter Samvel Gasparyan named European Vice-Champion

The last the of the competition at the U-20 and U-23 European Weightlifting Championships is held today in Durres, Albania. As the National Olympic Committee reported, the representative of Armenia Samvel Gasparyan, competing in the 105kg weight class of the U-20 competition, won silver with a total score of 374kg. The Armenian athlete claimed small bronze in the snatch (167kg) and small gold - in the clean and jerk (207kg).
