Armenian women’s team finishes 9th at the European Chess Championships

Armenian national women’s team conceded to Russia 0.5:3.5 in the final round of the European Chess Championships concluded in Crete, Greece.

As the National Olympic Committee reported, Elina Danielyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, and Maria Gevorgyan suffered defeats, while Lilit Galoyan played a draw.

Meanwhile, the Russian female team claimed a victory at the tournament, leaving behind Georgia and Ukraine.
