Iranian commission resumes discussions on Armenian-Iranian joint hydropower plant – analyst

The Iranian Parliament's Energy Commission resumed discussions on a draft law on the construction of a hydropower plant at Arax River near the town of Meghri in southern Armenia in participation of Armenia and Iran and its joint operation, Armen Israyelyan, an expert on Iranian studies, wrote on Facebook.

He reminded the groundbreaking ceremony of Meghri hydropower plant was held in November 2012 and further renewed in 2014.
