NSS: Armenians spend less on food

Consumer expenditures of Armenians on food have decreased, according to the released data of the country’s National Statistical Service (NSS).

According to the source, the monthly consumer spending per household in 2016 was 18 764 drams ($39), and 19 773 drams (41$) in Yerevan.

The average index of the household nominal consumption expenditures per person constitute 43 978 drams (91$) and 55 428 drams (114$) in Yerevan.
