Two GMs represent Armenia at 2nd Sharjah Chess Masters

The 2nd Sharjah Masters International Chess Championship kicks off today at the United Arab Emirates, bringing together some 132 chess players, including 31 GMs.

Grandmasters Tigran L Petrosian and Manuel Petrosyan represent Armenia at the chess tournament, the Chess Federation of Armenia told Panorama.am.

Chinese GM Wang Hao leads the starting rank of the tournament with 2707 rating.

Over $57,000 in cash prizes are at stake in the 2nd Sharjah Masters which runs until 20 April.
