Football: Armenia’s U21 team loses friendly to Moldova

The U21 football team of Armenia led by head coach Armen Gyulbudaghyants suffered a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Moldova in an international friendly match held on Wednesday in the Moldovan capital of Chisinau.

Moldova scored the victorious goal in the 93rd minute from a penalty kick, the Football Federation of Armenia told Panorama.am.

The Armenian team had to finish the match with 10 men after sending off midfielder Hakob Hakobyan.
