Artsakh soldier awarded posthumously

Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on Sunday on posthumously awarding serviceman of the Artsakh Defense Army Artsakh Hovsepyan with the "For Service in Battle" medal for bravery shown during the defense of the country’s state border, Sahakyan's office said. 

Hovsepyan, 20, was fatally wounded on Saturday, at around 4pm, in Azerbaijan’s cross-border shooting in an eastern military position.

An investigation into the details of the incident is underway.
