Armenia’s NSS looking into Kocharyan’s property, to release details soon

Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) is scrutinizing the property of former President Robert Kocharyan, NSS director Artur Vanetsyan told reporters after today’s Cabinet meeting.

“The inquiry is underway; soon the results will be disclosed,” Vanetsyan said.

The second president has denied any wrongdoing after facing corruption allegations namely regarding the purchase of a Yerevan hotel for a $6 million bribe.
