Armenian businessman charged with ‘bribery assistance’

Armenian businessman Samvel Mayrapetyan has been charged with ‘assistance to taking bribe’ under Article 38-311 of Armenia’s Criminal Code, Special Investigation Service spokesperson Marina Ohanjanyan told Panorama.am. 

A Yerevan court is now considering the motion on remanding the tycoon into custody, she said.

Mayrapetyan, who owns H2 TV Company. was arrested on 6 October, but denies any wrongdoing.
