Tourist arrivals up 8.8% in Armenia in nine months

Armenia saw a strong growth in tourist arrivals in the first nine months of this year, according to the latest statistics.

The country welcomed a total of 1,275,209 tourists from January to September 2018, up by 8.8% from the same period last year, the Statistical Committee revealed.

Meantime, around 1,148,541 people left Armenia for tourism purposes over the first nine months, showing an increase of 6.7% percent from 2017.
