4.3 million people visit Hermitage Museum every year

Around 4.3 million people visit yhe State Museum of Hermitage in St. Petersburg annually, Hermitage Director Mikhail Piotrovsky said, according to RIA Novosti.

"The Hermitage has about 4.3 million visitors annually, but we can have up to 5 million visitors," he said.
Mikhail Piotrovsky also noted that among these 4.3 million, 1.4 million visited the museum for free (with privileges).

Every year, December 7, Holy Catherine Day, marks the day of the foundation of the Hermitage.
