The global oil prices increased by 2% on Friday morning, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reports.
According to the source, the price for March futures Brent oil grew by 1,84% to stand at $53,7 per barrel.
The price for February futures WTI oil rose by 2,33% totalling to $45,65 a barrel.
Oil prices fell to their lowest in almost 18 months this week and are down more than 20 percent for the year, CNBC said.
To note, one barrel equals 158,988 liters.
