Mkhitaryan 'can‘t wait' to be back on pitch

Armenian national football team and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is looking forward to returning to the pitch after suffering a foot injury weeks ago, he said in a Facebook post, sharing a photo of himself.

“Can‘t wait to be back on the pitch,” he captioned the photo.

Mkhitaryan suffered a fractured metatarsal in the 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Tottenham on 19 December and was replaced at half-time. He is expected to be back in February. He has already resumed trainings.
