Thursday morning update on road conditions

The roads in Aragats region are partly covered with black ice as of 9:30am Thursday, Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies said in a daily road condition update.

Vardenyants Pass is difficult to pass for passenger vehicles and is shut down for cargo and trailer trucks due to snowstorm.

Road maintenance works are underway, the ministry said.

All the other interstate and republican highways in the country are open for traffic.
