Ashotsk Ski Centre to be inaugurated in Shirak region

A two days cross-country skiing event entitled "Ashotsk Cross-Country Mass Races" will be held on 26-27 January at Ashotsk Cross-Country skiing center. The Festival is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia and the Armenian Ski Federation. 

As the Delegation reported in a release, the project is aimed at promoting outdoor activities and a healthy lifestyle in local communities and attract tourists to lesser known spots in Armenia

The EU Ambassador to Armenia Piotr Świtalski, and the representatives of RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, representatives from the Shirak Marz and the Ashotsk community will attend the event to present the Ashotsk Ski Centre to the public.
