U.S. intelligence chief says Karabakh conflict may expand

The United States doesn’t rule out that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict may expand and even include Russia in one way or another, Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats said in his speech addressing Congress.

“Tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh region remains a potential source for a large-scale military conflict that might draw in Russia,” RIA Novosti quoted the U.S. official as saying.
