Minor quake strikes Artsakh

The Seismic Protection Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations detected a magnitude 2.5 earthquake in the territory of Artsakh on Monday, at 5:24am local time (GMT 1:24am).

The earthquake struck 6km east of the town of Karvachar at a depth of 10km.

The tremor measured magnitude 3 points at the epicentre.

The jolts were felt in Karvachar with magnitude 3.
