Thursday morning road conditions update

Some highways are closed or hardly passable in the territory of Armenia as of 9:30am Thursday, March 21, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a daily road condition update.

Vardenyats Pass is shut down for traffic, while Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass.

Goris-Kapan highway is partly ice-covered, with fog descending on the road.

The ministry urges drivers to use winter tires.
