Lars road open only for light passenger vehicles

Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for light passenger vehicles as of 10am Thursday, April 4, the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure told the Armenian Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies.

The road that connects Armenia and Russia via Georgia is currently closed for cargo and trailer trucks, the ministry said.
