Burgos city council recognizes the Armenian Genocide

The city council of Burgos, a provincial capital in Spain’s autonomous community of Castile and Leon, has officially recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide, the Council Twitter account reported.

“All political forces represented at the Council unilaterally approved the petition to recognize the Armenian Genocide,” the message read.

To remind, earlier Carcaixent, Alaquas, and Elda towns of Spain officially recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide.
