Aznavour always dreamed of peace, son says at Armenian Genocide Memorial
“Today I had a feeling that I would always have beside my father. I have a feeling that he is here with us,” Nicolas Aznavour, the son of late legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour said at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan on the 104th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
According to him, his father would want him to be there on April 24 on behalf of their entire family. Nicolas Aznavour promised to continue raising the Armenian Genocide issue.
“But I want to stress that my father never felt hatred towards any other nation. He always dreamed of peace, dreamed that there be a happy youth living in peace and without hatred,” he said.
