Armenia’s Aronian finishes 7th in Grenke Chess Classic

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian took the 7th spot in the Grenke Chess Classic 2019 which came to its end in Germany on Monday, 29 April.

The leading Armenian chess player collected 4.5 points after drawing his last-round game against Fabiano Caruana.

Magnus Carlsen of Norway won the Grenke Chess Classic with a total of 7.5 points.

Aronian became the winner of the chess championship in 2017.
