Salt production grows strongly in Armenia

Armenia saw a strong growth in salt production in the first two months of this year, according to the data released by the Statistical Committee.

The country produced a total of 3,741.1 tons of salt in January-February, up by 51.3% from the same period of 2018, when the production stood at 2,473.2 tons.

Armenia’s salt production dropped by 30.6% to 39,379 tons over the past year.
