Armenian parliament fails to elect Constitutional Court judge for the fifth time

The Armenian National Assembly voted down on Wednesday Artur Vagharshyan’s candidacy for the vacant post of the Constitutional Court Judge. 30 lawmakers voted for Vagharshyan’s candidacy, while 53 others voted against.

Earlier, the National Assembly rejected bids by Vahe Grigoryan, Gor Hovhannisyan, Emil Babayan, and Elizaveta Danielyan for the post of the Constitutional Court judge.
