Levon Aronian to participate at Altibox Norway Chess

Leading player of the Armenia chess team Levon Aronian will take part in Altibox Norway Chess tournament from June 4 to 15, the National Olympic Committee reported.

The opponents of the Armenian GM in Norway’s Stavanger will be world current champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Fabiano Caruana (USA), Ding Liren (China),Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France),Viswanathan Anand (India),Alexander Grischuk (Russia),Wesley So (USA), Yu Yangyi (China) and Shakriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan).

Last year the winner of Norway Chess was named Fabiano Caruana, the source said.
