Armenian parliament passes tax reform package

The Armenian National Assembly on Tuesday adopted in the second reading and in full a massive bill package proposing amendments and supplements to the country’s Tax Code.

The bill package was backed by 72 lawmakers an opposed by 32 others in an extraordinary session.

The amended law would transform Armenia’s personal income tax code from progressive taxation to a flat tax system.
