Grand Chess Tour: Aronian drew with Giri

Round two at the Croatia Grand Chess Tour returned to normalcy with five out of the six games ending in draws. In the second consecutive round Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian drew with Anish Giri in the game that ended on the 55th move. Only Ian Nepomniachtchi managed to defeat Fabiano Caruana and now enjoys the sole lead.

After two rounds played, the Armenia player has scored one point. In Round three Aronian will face Viswanathan Anand.
