ANCA: Works on launching Los-Angeles-Yerevan direct flights underway

The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) is working on the issue of launching direct flights from Los Angeles to Yerevan, Nora Hovsepian, Chairperson of the ANCA Western Region, told a news conference in Yerevan on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, she stressed it is not an easy task, explaining it’s a matter of finding an airline that would accept the financial burden.

Lieutenant Governor of California Eleni Kounalakis expressed hope that Los-Angeles-Yerevan direct flights will be launched in the near future, since there is a high demand for it among California Armenians.
