Junior World C’ships: Armenian wrestler Arman Avagyan defeated in fight for bronze

Arman Avagyan (79 kg) was defeated in the fight for a bronze medal at the Junior World Wrestling Championships are underway in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Armenian athlete lost to Azerbaijan’s Abubakr Abakarov 4-6, the National Olympic Committee’s press service reports.

In the first round the Azerbaijani wrestler gained six points and was winning 6-0. In the second round Avagyan managed to bring back four points but he lacked time to bring all the lost back and he failed to win bonze.
