Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen roadway closed to truck traffic

Armenia’s Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway is closed to truck traffic due to the reconstruction works being carried out on the road, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

Two alternative routes have been set – Stepanavan-Tashir-Gogavan and Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.

According to the ministry, the roadways are passable in the territory of Armenia.

Meanwhile, the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
