Exports of fruit wines from Armenia grew by 41% to amount to $6.3 million in the first seven months of this year, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.
“Frankly speaking, I was sceptical of this product before, but during this year’s wine festival on Saryan Street I was convinced that Armenia’s winemakers have succeeded in bringing especially pomegranate wine to a whole new level, and this product has all the potential to become a new Armenian brand,” the PM said.
