Armenian parliament votes to grant news powers to tax body

The Armenian National Assembly on Thursday adopted in the first reading a bill on supplements to the Code on Administrative Offenses which would grant new legal powers to the State Revenue Committee.

Under the bill, the tax body is entitled to impose accountability for administrative offences.

The bill was adopted by a vote of 88 for, 13 against and 1 abstention.
