World Wrestling C'ships: Armenia’s Slavik Galstyan wins bonze

Armenian athlete Slavik Galstyan (63 kg) conquered a bronze medal at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships underway in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

In the struggle for the third place the Armenian wrestler defeated Iran’s Meysam Dalkhani 7-4, the National Olympic Committee’s press service reported.

Earlier Galstyan had outcompeted Azerbaijan’s and Uzbekistan’s representatives but had lost to Russia’s Stepan Maryanyan.
