Armenian president signs decree to sack police chief

President Armenian Sarkissian has signed a decree to dismiss Valeriy Osipyan as Chief of the Armenian Police.

The president signed the decree based on the prime minister’s proposal and guided by Article 133 (Part 1) of the Constitution and Article 13 (Part 2) of the law “On Service in Police”.
