Soap production grows in Armenia in 10 months

Armenia saw an increase in soap production in the first ten months of 2019, the latest official statistics show.

The country manufactured 550.1 tons of soap from January to October this year, up 1.3% from the same period of 2018 when the soap output stood at 543 tons, Panorama.am learned from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

Meantime, the manufacture of detergents and starching agents rose by 24.9% to 3,856.2 tons this year from last year’s 3,087.5 tons.
