Armenian weightlifters took gold and silver at International tournament in Qatar

Armenia’s representative Gor Minasyan won the Olympic weightlifting rating tournament in Qatar, the National Olympic Committee reported. According to the source, another representative of Armenia Ruben Aleksanyan took the second spot.

Minasyan, competing in the 109+ weight category, exceeded the result of Aleksanyan by 8 kg in the double event, the source said.

To remind, earlier Tatev Hakobyan from the women’s team took gold in the 87kg weight category.
