Production of salt down, sugar up in Armenia in 10 months

Salt production dropped by 9.1% to 15,916.2 tons in Armenia in January-October 2019, the latest official statistics show.

Armenia produced a total of 17,507.2 tons of salt in the same period of the previous year, the Statistical Committee revealed.

Meanwhile, sugar production grew in the country in ten months. Some 59,981 tons of sugar were produced in January-October last year against the 57,991 tons produced in the same months of 2018.
