Armenia’s Science Committee has new chairman

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision to appoint Sargis Hayotsyan Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

He is set to replace Samvel Harutyunyan, who was dismissed as Science Committee Chairman on 30 December 2019.

Before the appointment, Hayotsyan headed the committee’s Department of Organizing Scientific Expertise.
