Iran names new Ambassador to Armenia

Abbas Zohouri has been appointed new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia. Zohouri along with 12 other new ambassadors met with the President of Iran on Tuesday.

As President Hassan Rouhani tweeted the meeting came before the ambassadors leave on their countries of mission. 

“The President stressed the importance of developing economic relations,” the tweet said.
