Armenian authorities probing serviceman’s death in Artsakh

The Armenian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case into the death of junior sergeant Tigran Mkhoyan, a soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army.

The serviceman died on his way to the military hospital after suffering gunshot wounds in the head at a military post on Wednesday, the authorities said.

A preliminary probe is underway, with all necessary measures being taken to ensure a comprehensive and objective investigation of the case.
