Eight more suspected coronavirus cases test negative in Armenia
Eight more people suspected of carrying the novel coronavirus tested negative in Armenia on Monday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a Facebook post.
“Dear compatriots, after my yesterday's live video 8 more suspected cases [of coronavirus] were tested, but all the tests gave negative positive, i.e. no new coronavirus cases have been confirmed,” he wrote.
The health condition of the only coronavirus patient in Armenia has not deteriorated, the PM said, adding he does not even have fever. All the citizens placed under quarantine in the spa town of Tsaghkadzor are feeling well, he added.
Armenia reported its first coronavirus infection on Sunday in a 29-year-old citizen returning from Iran. Authorities have also quarantined around 30 people who have been in contact with the man.
