Armenian woman dies from coronavirus in Iran

An elderly Armenian woman has died from coronavirus in Iran, Arevelk newspaper reported, citing its sources in Tehran.

The 85-year-old victim, identifed as Eslik Masihi, had been receiving treatment at Tehran’s Masih Daneshvari Hospital for a week.

The hospital is housing coronavirus patients in the country.

Iran has the largest coronavirus outbreak outside of China, with 3,513 confirmed cases and 107 deaths.
