Central Bank to change old banknotes to prevent the spread of coronavirus

The Central Bank of Armenia plans to gradually replace the current old banknotes currently in circulation with the new ones which are not in use. As the Bank said in a released statement, the move comes as an effort to prevent the risk of coronavirus spread.

The Bank next urged the citizens to make use of online payment and banking systems.
