Armenia's coronavirus cases climb to 1,201 as of April 17

Armenia has confirmed 42 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 1,201 in the country as of 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports.

44 more patients have recovered from the disease. A total of 402 people have now been discharged from hospital.

The number of COVID-19 deaths has increased to 19 in Armenia.

As many as 10,793 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
