Coronavirus update: Armenia reports 72 new cases on April 22

Armenia has confirmed 72 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 1,473 in the country as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports.

24 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 633.

Overall, 24 people have died from COVID-19 in the country.

As many as 14,966 tests have been performed in Armenia since the disease outbreak.
