Coronavirus update: Armenia reports 50 new cases on April 23

Armenia has confirmed 50 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 1,523 in the country as of 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports.

26 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 659.

Overall, 24 people have died from COVID-19 in the country.

As many as 15,960 tests have been performed in Armenia since the disease outbreak.
